Saturday Evening Parties
These parties are held in houses or clubs they start at 8.00pm and our DJ's or bands play from 8.00-11.00pm. Coloured lights are shown outside the house parties to help find it. The host/ess collects club equipment for use at the party from a previous venue for his/her party.

Sunday Activities
BBQ's and luncheons are often held on Sundays. Please BYO food, drinks and cutlery. It helps to put a folding chair in your car as numbers are unpredictable. A donation of $5.00 from all attending is given to
the host/ess.
MISCONDUCT
ANY MEMBER WHO SHALL, BY THEIR CONDUCT, BRING THEMSELVES OR THE CLUB INTO DISREPUTE OR BE GUILTY OF PERSISTENTLY DISREGARDING THE RULES AND
REGULATION OF THE CLUB OR THE AUTHORITY OF THE COMMITTEE, SHALL BE LIABLE TO EXPULSON FROM THE CLUB BY A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMITTEE. NOTIFICATION TO A MEMBER OF SUCH PROPOSED EXPULSION, SHALL BE GIVEN BY THE SECRETARY IN WRITING TO THE MEMBER THIRTY DAYS PRIOR TO PROPOSED EXPULSION TO ENABLE AN EXPLANTATION UNDER THE CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS OF THE CLUB. 15A HIS/HER DEFENCE.
NO LIABILITY is accepted by the Western Social Club inc.
Conditions of Entry
Entry to functions is $10 unless otherwise stated such as special functions . A decent standard of dress which means clean smart casual attire. ALL DRINKS ARE BYO to house parties, but at licenced venues you must purchase your drinks over the bar, (the club endorses responsible drinking) The Club will provide tea and coffee.
OUR OBJECTIVE
The objective of the Club is to bring
people together through a
variety of activities e.g. house parties,
BBQ's, excursions and any community
project the club may wish to support,
we have weekends away which
are very popular and it is a great way
to get to know everybody,
and spend time away that
is affordable and enjoyable.
OUR HISTORY
Our Club started in the seventies in Perth Western Australia.
The Club is non-profit making and any revenue collected is spent on its members in the form of subsidized functions.
Over the years we have written thousands of names in the register, some remained members for a short time only, others are still members after 30 years.
A quarterly magazine is mailed to financial members.
Annual Club subscription is $35.00
Our magazine is mailed to financial members, and Memberships starts 1st January each year.
SATURDAY EVENING PARTIES
On Saturdays, we have regular social house parties, and functions at Bowling Clubs and Recreation Clubs, we also use clubs in the winter season. Entry fee is $10 for normal functions. The Club supplies free tea and coffee. You bring your own drinks to a house party but you have to purchase drinks where there is a licenced venue. There is a DJ for the Saturday night parties, and Live Bands at licenced vnues. The parties start at 8.00pm and our DJ's or bands play from 8.00pm - 11.00pm. A coloured light is shown outside the house parties and a Western Social Club sign to help you find it.
Our members graciously open their homes to enable us to have these regular parties, which allows you to enjoy the company of others and make new friends.
Live band nights were introduced in August 2019 to add a little difference to the normal Saturday Night parties, and change things around a little to give its members and visitors a variety of different nights. When there is a band night you are welcome to bring your own nibblies unless there is a venue with a kitchen open, and Band Nights will be held at Bowling Club's or recreation clubs because of the noise factor. You then also by your drinks over the bar at Club prices.
SUNDAY ACTIVITIES
BBQ's and Games are often held on Sundays, Please bring your own food and drinks and cutlery, The host(ess) provides the facilities for you to BBQ your food, also coffee and tea, It sometimes helps to put a folding chair in your car as numbers are unprediictable. A donation of $5.00 from all attending is given to the host/ess.
ACTIVITIES/HOUSE PARTIES
BBQ'S, Walks, Sunday Lunches, Board games and card afternoons, Weekend Get-Aways, Ten Pin Bowling, Day Trips, there is a mixture of activities that we try to incorporate so that you can choose what you would like to do.
